Growing up in a family of 8 kids, where his little siblings seemed to have a new hobby of breaking their glasses every other month, Roberts quickly realized two things: 1) kids can be really destructive, and 2) glasses are way too expensive to replace that often.

As a e-commerce geek and fashion lover, Roberts figured there had to be a smarter way to get stylish prescription glasses without overpaying. So, he teamed up with top frames and prescription lenses manufacturers and launched ROOPERT.
